<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable presentation of ten contents of a game utilizing an indicated direction from an indication device. SOLUTION: A beam gun 12 in operated by a player to indicate a position on a screen of a motor 14. The beam gun 12 is provided with a photodetector 25 to detect the indicated position on the screen by a control part 20 receiving light of a scan line of the monitor 14. The beam gun 12 is also provided with a transmitting side ultrasonic sensor 27 to detect the position of the beam gun 12 with a position calculator 21 based on the time until a sound wave transmitted from the transmitting side ultrasonic sensor 27 is received by a receiving side ultrasonic sensor 16. The control part 20 detects the indicated direction for any position on the screen from the beam gun 12 based on the position of the beam gun 12 detected by the position calculator 21 to execute a game processing according to the indicated direction and the indicated position on the screen by the beam gun 12.</p> |
