PURPOSE:To speedily and securely generate a shelf label. CONSTITUTION:A commodity file (hard disk 36) in hot equipment (file controller) 30 is provided with a decision code storage field and decision code setting storage control means (31 and 32) and a shelf label buffer 13B, print format converting means (11 and 12), and shelf label generation control means (11, 12, and 22) are provided on the side of an electronic cash register 10; when commodity data are newly added to the file (36) or when article data which are already set and stored are altered, the shelf label regarding the commodity is automatically generated by a printer 22. |
