OPTICAL-MAGNETIC DISK MEDIUM & PRODUCTING METHOD THEREOF

摘要

The invention is related to a highly oxidation resistant magneto-optic disk media for recording. The media are based on TbFeCo alloys with 2-8 atomic % Zr addition. It is manufactured by sputtering of zironium and alloys from the target which has mozaics of constituent metals. The amount of zirconium addition is determined by the size of each mozaic. The disk is finally coated with titanium metal to enhance the oxidation resistance.
