Signal processing apparatus for physiological signals

The apparatus has an input stage providing a signal of an alternating polarity formed from a physiological signal. An evaluation stage connected to the stage receives the signal and responds to a reference moment in time associated with the physiological signal. The evaluation stage detects amplitude values of characteristic curve points in signal maxima and minima (m, g, k), and generates a morphology : An independent claim is also included for a cardiac pacemaker comprising a signal processing apparatus.
