<p>Tobacco products are manufactured by an automatic machine (1) presenting a number of working parts, certain of which consist in rollers (R) rotatable about mutually parallel axes and carried by a substantially vertical bulkhead (A) of a frame (B), equipped with a protective casing (31) rendered capable of movement by means of a parallelogram linkage (38) between a raised position, clear of the bulkhead (A), and a lowered position shielding the bulkhead. A horizontal beam (39) associated permanently with the casing (31) carries an upright member (40) serving to support a camera and strobe light assembly (41); piloted by a master control unit (50), the upright member (40) is traversed along the beam (39) by one motor (43), and the camera-and-strobe-light-assembly (41) along the upright member (40) by another motor (42), so that the camera can be positioned at any given point on the bulkhead (A) to examine all the working parts.
