<p>The fastening element for the mounting of a component to be attached to a flat structure (1), especially a motor vehicle body, has a spring element (3) of an elastically deformable material for the direct fastening of the component, and an element (2) of weldable material for fastening to the flat structure by welding. The spring element and the weldable element are assembled into a unit before welding. The spring element consists of a material selected from a group including spring steel and a thermoplast. An independent claim is included for a method for the fastening of a fastening element to the body of a vehicle in which a spring element and weldable element are assembled into a unit and then welded to the body before painting.</p> |
