<p>A plurality of portable terminals 11 carried by nurses and a plurality of TV cameras 8 disposed in respective rooms are able to send and receive images to and from a TV camera controller 9, by means of a wireless LAN, and hence a nurse can observe the status in each room, in real time, by means of his or her portable terminal 11. Moreover, the TV camera controller 9 is able to provide a multiple display of the images from the plurality of TV cameras 8, on a TV monitor 10, and therefore the status of each of the rooms can be monitored in real time in the reception area 1 also. Consequently, work can be carried out more effectively and at lower cost, in terms of the movements performed by the nurses.</p> |
