An outer ring (4), an inner ring (2) and rollers (3) of a full-type rolling bearing (50) has a carbonitrided layer on the surface. The full-type rolling bearing components are carbonitrided by a heat treatment process, producing a microstructure having austenite crystal grain of size greater than 10. The full-type rolling bearing has a compression residual stress of at least 500 Mpa. An independent claim is included for a roller cam follower.
