PURPOSE:To increase the operation speed of rotation, zoom processing, or the like. CONSTITUTION:Two frame memories 171 and 172 into which original picture data is taken, a write address generating part 2 which designates the address position for storage of picture data, and a read address generating part 1 which has plural adding circuits, registers, and selectors and designates the address position of picture data to be read out from frame memories 171 and 172 in accordance with the result calculated based on the value of the rotation angle, the zoom ratio or the like are provided, and original picture data is alternately taken into frame memories 171 and 172 every frame, and the read address generating part 1 reads out picture data from the frame memory 172 when the write address generating part 2 stores original picture data in the frame memory 171, and the read address generating part 1 reads out picture data from the frame memory 171 when the write address generating part 2 stores original picture data in the frame memory 172. |
