<p>The characteristic curve for the servo assisting unit of a shift device for a motor vehicle's transmission has sections which depending upon the manual shift force or the shift phase have a variable gradient or proportionality in relation to the manual shift force. The characteristic curve has at least two sections of varying gradient, whereby at the beginning of the gear shift the gradient is greater than at the gradient during the synchronizing phase in such a way that at the beginning an adequate servo assisted force is made available, whereby during the synchronizing phase an overloading of components associated with the gear shift is avoided.</p> |
