PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter capable of reducing the frequency of cleaning by inhibiting the attachment of powder dust onto a front panel having an air intake port and a dust removing filter in an air conditioner, and being easily handleable. SOLUTION: This filter mounted in opposition to the air intake part of a front face of an air conditioner main body mounted on a wall face with a clearance for preventing the flowing of the powder dust from the air intake port of the front panel openably and closeably mounted on the air conditioner body toward the air intake part, comprises a press fitting part capable of being press fitted to the clearance, and a sheet-shaped filter part having air permeability and preventing passing of the powder dust. The press-fitting part is connected with the filter part, and the filter part is mounted to cover the front face of the front face panel with the press fitting parts press-fitted to the clearance.
