<p>The invention relates to a golf trolley comprising an upstanding member 8 in which golf clubs are stored and a ground engaging device 1 to which said upstanding member 8 can be releasably attached, characterised in that the upstanding member 8 is of sufficient rigidity to stand on its own unassisted and to enable a steering force to be transmitted therethrough. Tilting the upstanding member 8 may activate a latch to secure it to a cradle portion of the ground engaging device 1. The bag may be formed from a reinforced plastic material. The ground engaging device 1 may be a foldable remotely controlled rear wheel drive tractor unit having a rear anti-tip wheel or skid 6. As an alternative to remote control, a pivotal, foldable or retractable handle 9 may be used to steer the trolley.</p> |
