<p>Methods and compositions for use in inhibiting CMV replication in mammalian patients, wherein an effective amount of TPFA is administered to a patient in need of such treatment. TPFA is demonstrated to be at least as effective as PFA in inhibiting CMV viral replication, while having substantially improved bioavailability relative thereto.</p> |
