The adaptor has a peritelevision socket (210) with audio signal contact pins respectively connected to audio signal contact pins of a RJ45 socket (220), and a video signal contact pin connected to a video signal contact pin of the socket (220). An impedance adaptation circuit increases impedance of a signal received by the video signal pin of the socket (210) from 75 to 100 ohms on the video signal pin of the socket (220). An independent claim is also included for a domestic multimedia broadcasting system having an adaptor.
