Wind energy recovering and storing method for e.g. mechanical device, involves acquiring energy by primary vertical axis wind turbine and sending fluid to secondary turbine to accumulate and restore energy in mechanically usable conditions

The method involves acquiring wind energy from a natural source using a primary vertical axis wind turbine to drive a high pressure pump e.g. oil pump. A fluid pressurized by the pump is sent in a closed circuit towards a secondary turbine integrated with a gyroscopic flywheel such that the energy recovered by wind and transported by the fluid is accumulated by the flywheel and is restored in mechanically usable conditions. An independent claim is also included for a device of recovering and storing energy issued from a natural and irregular source in the form of mechanical energy.
