Printed unipolar antenna with omni directional radiation and vertical polarization feature. Antenna consists from three copular strips on a dielectric support (4). One, that is 'hot', is a central strip (1), while two external strips (2) and (3) have a role of mass. On an optional distance from the connections (10), and that can be even larger than one fourths of the wave length the work frequency, external strips (2) and (3) have breaks, i.e. gaps (5'), (5''), ..., (5(i)) and (6), (6''), ..., (6(i)) a coupling of three strip transmission line made from (1), (2) and (3) with raying strip elements (7'), (7''), ..., (7(i)) and (8), (8''), ..., (8(i)). Connection (10) with 'masses' (2) and (3) may be continued by the unit for matching (9) so as to obtain desired impedance of the antenna and thereupon a co-axial cable or, for higher microwave frequencies, coaxial termination or switch to waveguide. |
