PURPOSE: A power control method of a mobile communication terminal using electric field information is provided to enable a terminal to receive electric field information on a certain area and to control power with different values preset according to up/down events of the power and the electric field information, and to send a signal to a base station, thereby reducing unnecessary power consumption. CONSTITUTION: A terminal is connected to a base station, and receives electric field information from the base station. The terminal decides whether the terminal is located in a strong electric field area by the received electric field information. The terminal transmits a predetermined signal to the base station with a transmit power where up/down preset values are applied, according to up/down events of the transmit power and the electric field information. |
