PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workpiece turnover device capable of contributing to a reduction in size of a facility and an increase in safety by securing a sufficient workpiece holding force even by the use of a low thrust cylinder. SOLUTION: Two pallet frames 25A and 25B are installed, through linear motion guides 24A and 24B, on a rotating frame 23 rotatingly driven by an actuator 13 around a horizontal axis C movably relative to each other. A workpiece W is held between pallet supporting devices 50A and 50B in the pallet frames 25A and 25B and turned over by the cooperation of a cam mechanism 33 having two cam followers 38A and 38B on the pallet frames 25A and 25B with a lift cylinder 31. A workpiece holding force during the turnover is mainly supported on the cam mechanism 33 so that the low thrust cylinder 31 can be used. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
