PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the finished state of tilled field by decreasing the amount of untilled soil just under a transmission case or thereabout. SOLUTION: The plant husbandry machine is provided with right and left normal rotation shafts 62, 62 placed adjacent to the right and left sides of a transmission case 12 and right and left reverse rotation shafts 63, 63 placed coaxially to the normal rotation shafts and adjacent to the outside of the right and left of the normal rotation shafts. The right and left normal rotation shafts are provided with a plurality of normal rotation tines 121-124 and the right and left reverse rotation shafts are provided with a plurality of reverse rotation tines 131, 132. The power of a power source is transmitted through a power transmission mechanism housed in the transmission case to the right and left normal rotation shafts and the right and left reverse rotation shafts to rotate the normal rotation tines and the reverse rotation tines. The right and left normal rotation shafts are provided with unplowed soil treating tines 125, 126 adjacent to the right and left sides of the transmission case to break up the soil remaining immediately below the transmission case or thereabout.
