The mounting frame, for a truck or trailer tarpaulin, has a frame profile (4) and an anchor profile (5) with a rounded foot (17') at the longitudinal edge towards the tarpaulin (19). The foot fits into one of a number of rounded grooves (16') at the frame profile or a bonded intermediate piece, to give a swing action around the foot when the tarpaulin is taut and lie parallel to the tarpaulin plane. Either the anchor profile or a linked swing piping profile (26) has at least one holder for a piping. The anchor profile is in contact against the frame profile or its linked intermediate profile between the anchor profile foot and the piping holder.
