<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce data recorded in a memory card by managing a reproduction time limit. <P>SOLUTION: A data reader 300 includes: a memory card interface 344 communicating with a memory card in which data such as video, the recorded date of that data, and a reproduction time limit of that data are recorded; a real time clock 330 detecting the current date; a display unit 352 reading out data from the memory card to display video or the like; and a CPU 320 comparing the current date detected by the real time clock 330 with the recorded date and reproduction time limit of the data recorded in the memory card 200 to determine whether reproduction of the data recorded in the memory card 200 is allowed or not. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
