<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid polyelectrolyte film excellent in durability and capable of exerting a stable performance from low-humidified condition to a high-humidified condition, and to provide a polymer electrolyte fuel cell using the same, and their manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The solid polymer fuel cell 10 is provided with an electrolyte film 12 equipped with an electrolyte layer 30 with proton conductivity with an EW of 600 to 800 and a film thickness of 30 to 100 μm, and a first and a second high-intensity thin films 26A, 26B with proton conductivity arranged at either side of the solid electrolyte with a film thickness of 10 to 20 μm, and a hydrogen electrode 14 and an air electrode 16 arranged at either side of the electrolyte film 12 and containing metal catalyst. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
