<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell stack that suppresses deterioration of an electrode. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell stack is constituted so that modules 130-1 to 130-4 which are constituted by laminating a unit cell and a separator, while blocking plates 16-1 to 16-3 are interposed that block hydrogen passages 17a, 17b alternately among those modules. When a fuel gas is circulated from the fuel supply port 182a to the fuel discharge port 181b, it flows by a respective module unit. In respective modules, its laminated numbers of sheets along the circulation direction of the fuel gas are decreased, and according as the flow proceeds to the down stream, the circulation speed becomes faster. By this, discharge of water is promoted in the down stream part, while the circulation speed becomes slower in the upper stream part, and drying of the electrode is suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
