<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker capable of reducing radiation of a low-frequency magnetic field from a heating coil without adverse effects on the rice boiling performance. <P>SOLUTION: The rice cooker has the coil-shaped wiring 12 with a current component of the same frequency as the electric current of the commercial frequency component flowing in the heating coil 1, formed so that the electric current flows in the direction opposite from the heating coil 1. The coil-shaped wiring 12 is disposed on a lid 17 to offset a leakage magnetic field caused by the commercial frequency component radiated from the heating coil 1. Accordingly, as the magnetic field generated from the coil-shaped wiring 12 offsets the low-frequency leakage magnetic field from the heating coil 1, the leakage magnetic field can be greatly reduced. At the same time, as the distance between the coil-shaped wiring 12 and the heating coil 1 is sufficiently secured, the magnetic field generated from the coil-shaped wiring 12 does not block the magnetic field generated from the heating coil 1 to be absorbed in a pot 15, so that there is no adverse effect on the rice boiling performance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
