<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device and a lighting appliance to enable control action according to a change of detected illuminance effected by the combination difference of a lighting load, a lighting appliance structure, and a lighting appliance location. <P>SOLUTION: In a lighting device 10 controlling the dimming and lighting of a lighting load 18 when surrounding illuminance detected by an illuminance detection measure 11 falls below a set illuminance preset beforehand, a shutoff threshold in serial lighting control is newly set according to detected illuminance by the illuminance detection measure 11 during the serial lighting (full lighting) control of the lighting load 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
