PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcasting receiver capable of setting channels even when the region of a using place can not be specified. SOLUTION: An area code is sent out through a common channel from a tower 900 installed for each area. A mobile phone set 1 stores the data of a channel table for each area code including preset numbers corresponding to numeral keys and the channels inside a memory beforehand and automatically sets the channels on the basis of the received area code.
