<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper delivery device capable of eliminating the possibility of causing damage or jamming at the edge of a paper sheet when the paper sheet is fed to a double carrying passage by reversely rotating a delivery roll and an image forming device using the paper delivery device. <P>SOLUTION: This paper delivery device comprises a delivery means switchable between a delivery operation for delivering a recording paper on which an image is formed to the outside and a switchback operation for carrying the recording paper during delivery to the double carrying passage in the device.
