<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a redundant configuration network where possibility of the occurrence of a problem is lower than that in an existent redundant configuration network where a path is switched by a core switch. <P>SOLUTION: In the redundant configuration network, the path is switched not by the core switch but by the edge switch. Since the edge switch by which the path can be switched is realized only by imparting a function for switching the path to an edge switch where an original circuit constitution is more simple than the core switch, the probability of the occurrence of the problem in a part concerning the switching of the path becomes lower than that in the existent core switch. As the result, the possibility of the occurrence of the problem is lower in the redundant configuration network where the path is switched by the edge switch than that in the existent redundant configuration network where the path is switched by the core switch. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
