PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover without requiring separate parts for fixing and without requiring to provide special structure in a tool main body for fixing, and also to provide a power tool having the cover. SOLUTION: This power tool is provided with a motor, a housing storing the motor and having a vent hole, a transmission mechanism part for transmitting driving force of the motor, a gear case for storing the transmission mechanism part, and the cover for covering the gear case.
