PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the increase of communication quantity by permitting a common part to return response data of an instance being a response place/ item which is set in a command where an individual part to be a response object is designated to a center control part by means of a responce status. SOLUTION: The command/responce status is exchanged in order to collect response data of plural interface devices (individual part) under a districution/ line concentration device between an ATM switch (center control part) and the distribution/line concentration device (common part). The ATM switch designates the interface device to be the response objecta to the command to be transmitted to the distribution/line concentration device and also sets the instance being the response place/item in the device. Then, the distribution/ line concentration device analyzes then command and returns response data of the instance which is set in the command to the ATM switch by the response status. Thus, the enlargement of communication quantity is prevented even when plural point data is collected for the same item, etc. |
