PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to surely prevent current from flowing from a transmission device in a feeding state to a receiving device through a communication line when the supply of power to the receiving is stopped, in an electronic equipment wherein a communication is made between the two devices connected through the communication line. SOLUTION: This electronic equipment is provided with a CPU 10 which receives power from a first power circuit 2 directly connected to a battery BT and then operates and a peripheral IC 20 which receives power from a second power circuit 4 connected to the battery BT through an ignition switch IGSW and then operates. A signal transmission section (driver circuit 12) of the CPU 10 and a signal receiving section (protective circuit 22) of the peripheral IC 20 are connected with a communication line L1. The equipment has such a structure that in order to prevent current from flowing from the CPU 10 into the peripheral IC 20 through the communication line L1 when the ignition switch IGSW is turned off, power may be supplied to the peripheral IC 20 from the first power circuit 2 through a feeder S1. |
