The flat, plane flexible load-bearing construction comprises two or more identical flat coupler devices. Each has body portions and two opposite ends which include an aperture at one end which is of sufficient width to receive a flat lifting sling. At the other end there is an open slot with a raised arm at its entrance side. Each coupler device is in back-to-back relation and their respective raised arms are positioned on the opposite sides from each other. Each aperture of each coupler device is aligned in serial connection with the other. A flat lifting sling passes first through the series of apertures, and passes second through an opening for a load connector device. Its free end connects to the raised arms and retains in the open slots. |
