PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a magnetic shutting-off structure by simple machining processing by providing a thin-walled part in a section in the halfway part of a magnetic cylindrical body to improve reliability and work efficiency when assembling. SOLUTION: The magnetic cylindrical body 2 is integrally formed by a metallic pipe, and the thin-walled part 16 for shutting off a valve element storing part 2A and a core member inserting and fitting part 2B magnetically is provided in the section in its halfway part. Consequently, it is possible to prevent magnetic field H from being short-circuited by the magnetic cylindrical body 2 and lead the magnetic field H between an attraction part 8C and a core cylinder 9 of a valve element 8 stably when an electromagnetic coil 12 is excited. As a result, it is possible to form the magnetic cylindrical body 2 having the magnetic shutting-off structure easily only by general-purpose machining processing, reduce the number of parts to simplify a structure of the whole injection valve, and prevent thermal deformation of the magnetic cylindrical body 2 by applying, for example, heating treatment to improve reliability.
