PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To actually increase working efficiency in carrying workpieces by facilitating an operation for loading and unloading the workpieces W without disposing a lowermost shelf 40 at a high position in this jump-up cart used for carrying the multiple sheets of sheet-like workpieces W on the shelf 40 with multiple stages. SOLUTION: A liftably guided lifting body 30 is installed on a support part 20 on a car deck 10, and the stages of the shelf 40 are installed on the lifting body 30 so as to be jumped up. The cart also comprises an elastic support part 50 elastically deforming so as to allow the lowering movement of the lifting body 30 according to an increase in a load applied thereto through the lifting body 30 and elastically returning so as to raising the lifting body 30 according to a decrease in the load.
