PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect information on the fluff of a thread line wrapped around in the form of a final product in a method of manufacturing a synthetic fiber for multiple thread lines equal to or more than two thread lines at a high speed of 2,000 m/min or faster. SOLUTION: In this method, as shown in Fig. 1, the molten and spinned synthetic fiber thread line is stretched by a plurality of godet rollers, heat treated, and wrapped around a cheese winding package. A laser type fluff detection device is disposed at an extension part and/or a winder, a laser beam 3 is radiated on a running thread line and/or on the fluff 6 of the thread line 5 on the surface of the cheese winding package, and the thread line is wrapped around while detecting the fluff 6.
