CONTENT MANAGEMENT PROGRAM, METHOD, AND DEVICE

An encrypted content having a use condition of copyright inhibiting copy in a device which has received the content and an encryption key are stored. The encrypted content is copied/transferred via a network to/from another device. The encryption key is transferred via the network so that is stored in one of the devices. Even when recording/storing a highly fine television broadcast signal received with a copyright use condition of copy once, an access flag is provided for controlling presence/absence of reproduction of the broadcast content for each broadcast content. When an original broadcast content is transcoded to a low resolution and transferred to another device, the access flag is turned on so as to enable reproduction.
