The furniture has a removable coupling device (7) having two operating modes. In first operating mode drawers (3,4) are manually operated by attached driving element (10). In second operating mode the two drawers are not coupled. The removable coupling device is fitted between back of front screen (3') of the first drawer and front (4') of the front wall of second drawer respectively as required.
