The driver's cab (10) of the commercial vehicle has a bunk (18) installed on the rear wall (12). The bunk on its underside has at least one storage compartment (22) pivotably installed in relation to the bunk. The storage compartment and bunk have the same base surface. The storage compartment may be constructed in one section or in two sections. The storage compartment is installed on the underside of the bunk by a hinge (32) which allows it to pivot.
