The method involves finding a position of a control device (18) from a signal of a detection device. A desired value for the signal corresponds to a specific position of the device (18) or the signal is indirectly superimposed with a correction value determined for the position such that an error of position of the device (18) is partially corrected, where error is caused due to mismatch of axis of rotation against a central axis.
