The cover (6) has an integrated oil mist separating mechanism (10) formed with a channel (12) that has a channel entry, an oil return, and a channel exit. The oil return is formed with a return channel which is open to the cylinder head (5) of an internal combustion engine (1) in gravity force direction. The oil return has larger flow resistance than the channel entry. The cover is installed to cover the cylinder head of the engine. The channel entry and oil return are open to the cylinder head, while the channel exit is connected to pressure wells (11,9) of the engine. An independent claim is included for the internal combustion engine provided with cylinder head cover.
