<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing composite particles capable of creating an electrode for an electrochemical element that provides the electrochemical element having a small internal resistance, a high capacity, and uniform electrode density. <P>SOLUTION: A fluid dispersion comprising a carbonaceous conductive material, which is dispersed into water, is sprayed to an electrode active material to provide composite particles in which the carbonaceous conductive material is adhered to the surface of the electrode active material. Preferably, when spraying, the electrode active material is made to flow within a container. The fluid dispersion preferably further contains a binding agent and/or a dispersant. An electrode material for an electrochemical element containing the composite particles provided according to the manufacturing method is used to manufacture an electrode for an electrochemical element, thus making it possible to provide an electrochemical element having a small internal resistance, a high capacity, and uniform electrode density. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
