<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the costs of system configuration while maintaining high throughput internode communication, and to reduce the costs of the configuration or reconfiguration of a multi-node computer system by using software dedicated to internode communication as it is. <P>SOLUTION: The multi-node computer system uses a general purpose I/O interface for internode communication.
