<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ac power generating system for single phase, in which adverse effects due to heat generation resulting from ON resistance of transistors are reduced. <P>SOLUTION: In an IPM (Intelligent Power Module) for three phase used to generate three-phase ac power, a wiring W and a wiring Z are provided, wherein the wiring W branches from a wiring U and connects a U-phase controller to the gate electrode of the transistor Gw, and the wiring Z branches from wiring X and connects a V-phase controller to the gate electrode of the transistor Gz.
