<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display panel device, in which the measurement of luminance and the correction of unevenness in the luminance can be performed in a simple manner, without the need for preparing a luminance-measuring instrument, in correcting the variation in the luminance of light-emitting pixels. <P>SOLUTION: The display panel device, in which a user views the light-emitting pixels 6 prepared in a light-emitting layer 4 and made to emit light of the prescribed luminance via a transparent substrate 7, is provided with a photodetecting section, comprising light guides 9a to 9d measuring the luminance of the light emitting pixels 6 and photodetectors 11a to 11d the outer peripheral side face of the transparent substrate 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
