PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging apparatus which can obtain electric signals, one linearly changing and the other logarithmically changing to the quantity of incident light and which exhibits high responsiveness and an excellent S/N ratio even in a region showing both of a linear characteristic and a logarithmic characteristic. SOLUTION: The solid-state imaging apparatus is constituted in such a manner that a MOS transistor T5 for outputting a signal integrated by a capacitor C1 and a MOS transistor T3 for outputting a signal that is not integrated by the capacitor C1 are connected to an output signal line 6, and the solid-state imaging apparatus selects and outputs an output signal from the MOS transistor T3 in linear operations and selects and outputs an output signal from the MOS transistor T5 in logarithmic operations.
