PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup capable of reducing man-hours and preventing failures, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: This optical pickup 3 is provided with a base 60 having an objective lens 5, and a magnetic head angle 14 having a magnetic head 32 facing the objective lens 5 and fixed to the base 60. A holding spring 15 is provided to integrate the base 60 and the magnetic head angle 14 by the pressing force of the optical axis direction A-B of the objective lens 5. The magnetic head angle 14 is moved relatively to the base 60 to be positioned by an adjust pin 50 in a state where the base 60 and the magnetic head angle 14 are elastically held by the holding spring 15, and then the magnetic head angle 14 is fixed to the base 60 with a fixing screw 17.
