PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of video or audio breaks during the reproduction of a layer changing part when a series of video or audio recorded in a multilayer recording medium striding layers are reproduced. SOLUTION: This system is constructed in such a manner that when recording areas in the same layer of a multilayer recording medium are divided into concentric circular areas not exceeding a maximum width 1 to record videos or audios, first, they are recorded in every other area from an inner peripheral direction to an outer peripheral direction, and then they area recorded in unrecorded areas sequentially from the outer peripheral direction to the inner peripheral direction. Even when they are recorded from the outer peripheral direction to the inner peripheral direction, the consistency of a recording direction is maintained for the entire recording medium.
