PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bandgap circuit which can be operated with a low supply voltage and has a high power supply rejection ratio (PSRR), low noise, and less variance. SOLUTION: The bandgap circuit is constituted of: an amplifier 31 for feedback control; PMOS transistors 32 and 35; two bipolar transistors 33 and 34 having different emitter areas; resistors R<SB>1</SB>, R<SB>2</SB>, and R<SB>p</SB>between the base and the emitter of the bipolar transistor 33 having a smaller emitter area; a resistor R<SB>p</SB>between the base and the collector of the bipolar transistor 34 having a larger emitter area; and resistors R<SB>1</SB>and R<SB>2</SB>between the base and the emitter of the bipolar transistor.
