PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment for visually discriminating a host or peripheral equipment among a plurality of equipment connected to each other corresponding to OTG specifications. SOLUTION: This electronic equipment F is provided with a connection terminal T which can be connected to both a first plug Ca connected to host side equipment and a second plug Cb connected to peripheral side equipment, which are installed in a communication cable C, wherein any of the host side function and the peripheral side function can be executed according to the connected plug. This electronic equipment F is provided with a means 1 for discriminating to which of the first plug Ca and the second plug Cb the connection terminal T is connected and a means 13 for reporting the discrimination result of the discriminating means 1.
