PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excavating machine to insert and draw out a pipe against the ground and capable of connecting a pipe with different right and left screw kinds. SOLUTION: A right hand screw connection part 4d is provided in a hammer sub 4 forming the rotation transmitting shaft of the drill head 2. A master coupling 9 at the rear end of the inner tool 10 is connectedly screwed by the right hand screw connection part 4d. A left hand screw connection part 5c is provided in the rod sub 5 forming a rotary transmission shaft of the swivel 3. The rod sub of the outer tool is connectedly screwed with the right screw in the left hand screw connection part 5c. Hence, the excavating machine 1 can connect a pipe in spite of disagreement of the right and left kinds of screw even in the right or left hand connection. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
